Slice Mob Hits Camille’s

August 21, 2026

Ok pizza people…

Slice Mob rolled into Camille’s this time, and man did we bring the crew. Lifelong friends around one table, ten pies deep, absolute chaos in the best way. That’s what these meetups are supposed to be. Get a bunch of pizza obsessed people in one room, order way too much food, and see what happens.

Cool spot, nice vibe. They’ve got the wood fired oven right in back so you get to watch your pie happen while you wait, which honestly never gets old for me. Good energy in there, easy to talk over, easy to hang out for a couple hours with a big table full of people who all have opinions about pizza.

I went with the Margherita and the Spicy Roni. Both excellent choices, no notes.

The Margherita was simple and done right. Good char on that crust, sauce wasn’t shy, fresh basil torn on top instead of drowning the whole thing in cheese. When a place can make a plain cheese pizza taste like something, that tells you the dough and sauce game is legit. Anybody can pile on toppings. Not everybody can nail the basics.

The Spicy Roni was the one everybody kept reaching for. Cupped pepperoni, little crispy edges holding pools of grease like they’re supposed to, real heat behind it. Not a “spicy” that’s just marketing either, actual kick.

We only scratched the surface of the menu honestly. There’s a lot more to work through, and I plan on it.

Camille’s, you’re on the list for round two. 🍕
